Once again, we join forces with our favorite ceramist @perroyarena to create these beautiful Solecitos.
Each ceramic solecito was hand built and hand painted with colored pigments by Tijuana-based artist Sócrates Medina from Perro y Arena. The solecitos then traveled to the state of Campeche, Mex. to be hand-woven by artisan Milagro de Atocha. Using jipi-japa fibers, the solecitos were hand woven in an underground cave where the humid temperatures facilitate the weaving process. Lastly, they made their way to CDMX to be finished and photographed at the Lørdag & Søndag showroom by Salvador Compañ. Each solecito is one of a kind and will be available at Lørdag & Søndag showroom in CDMX.
