This Artefacto was designed by Lørdag & Søndag in Mexico City and hand-woven by master artisan Don Claudio in the Sierra Madre Oriental- mountain range of the State of Oaxaca, México.
Rattlesnake-shaped pieces inspired by a sculpture of Ahuítzotl, an aquatic animal from pre-Hispanic mythology that features a human hand at the end of its tail. These pieces are woven without an internal metal structure using a fiber called G'noo Xombé Nisin, in Mazatec, the local language of the region.

Este Artefacto fue diseñado por Lørdag & Søndag en la Ciudad de México y tejido a mano por el maestro artesano Don Claudio en la Sierra Madre Oriental del estado de Oaxaca, México.
Piezas en forma de serpiente de cascabel inspiradas en una escultura prehispánica de Ahuítzotl, animal acuático de la mitología prehispánica con una mano humana en el extremo de la cola. Son tejidas sin una estructura de metal interna utilizando una fibra llamada G’noo Xombé Nisin, en mazateco, idioma local de la región.
